NICE International provided practical support and advice to governments and funding agencies, on the use of evidence and social values in healthcare policy decisions, in order to contribute to more effective, equitable use of resources and better health around the world. NICE International was a not-for-profit arm of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), an independent body responsible for providing authoritative guidance to, and setting standards for the National Health Service (NHS) in England, United Kingdom.
In September 2016, the team at NICE International moved to Imperial College London and formed the Global Health and Development Group to continue leading iDSI.
